The booster vacuum pump from the Vacma brand VBP-250/3000 with a speed of action of 2,800 l/s allows you to achieve an average vacuum. The external distinguishing feature of the booster pump from the diffusion pump is the larger size of the boiler and several conical water-cooled housings installed on the boiler. A booster pump, unlike a diffusion pump, operates with an increased density of the working fluid (steam), achieved primarily by increasing the heater power. The VBP-250/3000 pump is used in conjunction with an oil pre-vacuum pump. It is also possible to install a booster pump at the inlet with a flow vacuum trap.
